<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow heating of a die to be inhibited and lowering of cooling speed to be reduced, even when molten metal is formed by performing induction heating above the die, in a centrifugal casting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The centrifugal casting apparatus 1 includes: an induction heating coil 7 for obtaining the molten metal 10 by induction heating of a metallic material; the die 4 which has a cavity 4c in which casting is performed by injecting the molten metal 10 and a molten metal inlet 4a for injecting the molten metal 10 to the cavity 4c, and in which the molten metal inlet 4a is arranged below the induction heating coil 7; and electromagnetic shielding 5 which is provided between the induction heating coil 7 and the die 4. The electromagnetic shielding 5 is provided at least in an area outside in a radial direction from an internal circumference of the minimum coil of the die 4 side of the induction heating coil 7 in view of a direction along the center axis O<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of the induction heating coil 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
