The present invention relates to a coated electric wire connecting apparatus and method, and more particularly, to a coated electric wire connecting apparatus and method for: respectively passing coated electric wires, wound on a plurality of winding rolls, through an alignment unit having a plurality of receiving holes, and pre-treating the wires to increase the adhesiveness thereof; individually guiding each of the pre-treated coated electric wires, guiding a coated electric wire bundle in a zigzag formation between a plurality of tension rollers, and applying and hardening a UV adhesive solution on the coated electric wire bundle; and rolling the hardened coated electric wire bundle, and vertically cutting the horizontally laid coated electric wire bundle by means of an encoding output signal.
