In a storage space (2), a movable wall (13) conceals, when in a closed position, a case (15) for the discreet storage of objects which a person wishes to keep. A mounting (14) comprises two plates (16, 17) joined at right angles (16, 17). One (16) of these rests on the bottom (7) and the other (17) is attached magnetically to the rear wall (6) of the metal storage space (2). The movable wall (13) is hinged at its bottom to the extreme front of the mounting by means of two hinges concealed by the movable wall (13) when closed. The movable wall (13) has the same lining as the walls of the storage space. An overhang (31) can be grasped to pull down the wall (13) and allow access to the case (15) attached to the rear face of the wall (13). The device is very simple to install in a drawer or the like in an existing piece of furniture, for guarding objects against theft. <IMAGE> |
