A solid-state imaging element provided with: a photosensitive-cell array containing a plurality of photosensitive cells; a spectroscopic element array (100) containing a plurality of spectroscopic elements; and a color-filter array (300) containing a plurality of color filters. The photosensitive-cell array (200) has a plurality of unit blocks (40), each of which contains photosensitive cells (2a and 2b). The spectroscopic element array (100) contains spectroscopic elements (1a), each of which inputs incident light (W) of wavelengths outside a first wavelength range to a first photosensitive cell (2a) and inputs at least a part of incident light of wavelengths in the first wavelength range to a second photosensitive cell (2b). A color filter (3a) that absorbs or reflects light of wavelengths in the first wavelength range is disposed between each first photosensitive cell (2a) and that spectroscopic element (1a).
