Also, provided is an infrared-ray-transmitting black film, etc. that has superior light blocking properties with respect to visible light rays, and at least a certain value of transmittance with respect to infrared rays, the average dispersed particle size of the black material in the film being 1 nm to 50 nm inclusive, the transmittance (T560) at a wavelength of 560 nm for every 1 µm of thickness being less than 40%, and the ratio (OD950/OD­560) of the optical density (OD950) based on the transmittance at a wavelength of 950 nm to the optical density (OD560) based on the transmittance at a wavelength of 560 nm being no greater than 0.35.
