<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately supply toner even when the conveying speed of the record paper sheet is switched in an image formation device where a two-component developer is used. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a toner density sensor 545 mounted at the lower part of screws 541 and 542 which agitates and conveys the developer, a toner supply part 6 for supplying a toner to a housing 540, a first toner density control part 101 for controlling toner density based on the result of the detection by the sensor 545, a speed control part 107 capable of controlling the switching of the peripheral speed of a photoreceptor drum 51 according to each type of record paper sheets, a dot number integration part 103 for integrating the number of exposure dots, a consumption amount storage part 213 for storing a toner consumption amount per a prescribed dot number, and a second toner density control part 102 for supplying a prescribed amount of toner each time the integrated dot number reaches a set dot number.
