<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power management device capable of forcibly saving energy according to the power requested by a demand side so as not to exceed the contract power. <P>SOLUTION: The power management device, connected between loads 2a-2c and a commercial power supply 3, includes: power adjustment means 4 for controlling power supply to the loads 2a-2c by controlling voltages to the loads 2a-2c into a desired voltage and controlling the voltages below the desired voltage when the power supply to the loads 2a-2c exceeds a predetermined first supply level; and second power adjustment means 5 for blocking the power supply to the plurality of loads when the power supply to the loads 2a-2c exceeds a predetermined second supply level or when power reduction by the power adjustment means reaches the maximum; so that the power management device can forcibly save energy according to the power requested by a demand side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
