摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of entries in a backup table in each route control device when an IP-fast reroute (IP-FRR) is performed in a communication network. <P>SOLUTION: A route control device 10 compiles a backup table from a backup topology used for an IP-FRR, extracts entries having the same combination of a destination node and a next hop (overlapping route information) from the backup table, and associates the entries with a table ID of the backup table of extraction source of the entries and registers them with a common backup table 135. Then, the route control device 10 eliminates overlapping route information from the backup table. After this, when the route control device 10 receives a packet, it searches a backup table indicated by a table ID of the received packet for a corresponding entry, and if there is not a corresponding entry, searches the common backup table 135 for the entry. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
