<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide for a touch panel which can make light emitted from an optical waveguide of the light emission side incident onto an optical waveguide of the light incident side, even if strain or torsion or the like is generated at itself. <P>SOLUTION: The optical waveguide for a touch panel comprises an overclad layer 4 which covers an end surface of a core 3A for emitting light S and an end surface of a core 3B for making light S incident and which has end parts formed to be lens parts 40A, 40B, each of which includes a curve surface having an arcuate cross section which warps toward the outside. The lens part 40A of the light emission side is configured to satisfy either of the following (A) or (B). (A) Emission light S from the lens part 40A of the light emission side diffuses in the height direction of the lens part 40A.
