PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a start point for specifying a mutual positional relationship between point-like images so as to minimize the possibility that information is not correctly decoded from an imaging result of a coded image composed of the point-like images.
SOLUTION: An electronic pen calculates a probability that each point-like image detected from an obtained image composes a coded image. The probability is calculated to be higher when a point-like image has a higher possibility of being obtained by taking the coded image. On the basis of the calculated probability and a position of the point-like image in the obtained image, the electronic pen determines a start point S to be a reference for specifying a positional relationship between the point-like images, assigning priority to a point-like image with a higher probability. For example, the electronic pen determines a point-like image whose distance from a barycenter G is relatively short and angle is relatively great as the start point S. Consequently, the possibility of determining noise as an origin by mistake and the possibility of determining the vicinity of an end portion of an image where distortion of the obtained image tends to have an effect as an origin are reduced.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
