A wearing resistant piston ring, wherein said piston ring comprises a sintered alloy (2) having a superior wearing resistance and slidability with the thickness of more than 2 mm applied over the sliding surface of the piston ring, and wherein a metal which is arranged inside said sintered alloy so as to provide a piston ring body (1), and said two members are bonded together.
