<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire advantageous for improving on-ice braking performance, by restraining falling of a part of blocks positioned in an end part in the tire circumferential direction. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of blocks 16 are arranged in a tread part 10, and a plurality of sipes 18 are arranged on a tread surface 10A of the blocks 16. A projection part 22 is formed in one of a sipe wall surface 1804 mutually opposed in the sipes 18, and a recessed part 24 meshing with the projection part 22 is formed in the other, and the falling of the part of the blocks 16 sandwiched by the sipes 18 is restraining by meshing the projection part 22 and the recessed part 24. A height H1 of the projection part 22 arranged on the sipe wall surface 1804 of the sipes 18 positioned in the end part in the tire circumferential direction is larger than a height H2 of the projection part 22 arranged on the sipe wall surface 1804 of the other sipes 18.
