<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support system in which there is no fear of such an unexpected event that the clothing of a driver tangles on a steering wheel or the steering wheel hits the hand of the driver during parking support. <P>SOLUTION: A steer-by-wire system (2), in which the steering wheel (7) and steered wheels (15L, 15R) are mechanically cut off from each other, includes steering motors (22, 23) for steering the steered wheels (15L, 15R) depending on the rotation of the steering wheel (7).
