<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable binding processing for further enhancing the binding power of mutual recording materials, in a recording material postprocessing device for performing binding processing on the recording materials. <P>SOLUTION: The recording material postprocessing device includes: a binding part 511C which binds a paper bundle T by moving in a stacking area of the stacked paper bundle T and forming deformation in the thickness direction in the paper bundle T, and retreats to the outside of the stacking area of the paper bundle T after binding the paper bundle T; a lower frame 512 for supporting the paper bundle T when the binding part 511C binds the paper bundle T; a projecting member 512C for separating the paper bundle T from the lower frame 512 when the binding part 511C moves in the stacking area of the paper bundle T; and a moving frame 511A for pressing down the paper bundle T between the lower frame 512 and itself before the binding part 511C binds the paper bundle T and retreating the projecting member 512C toward the lower frame 512 side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
