The device has a condensate box (10) with an inlet (17) for chemical/water vapors and an outlet (22) for chemical/water mixtures condensed in the condensate box. The condensate box comprises a cooling and heating device (13) with a coolant inlet (1) and a coolant outlet (2). A temperature measuring and regulating device is arranged in a suction pipe (18) or in a feed pipe for controlling temperature of a suction filtering device. An overflow device (11) is arranged in the condensate box, and a flow monitor is arranged in the suction pipe. An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning a chemical product into interior of a tank reservoir by condensation of chemical/water vapors.
