The box has a flap cover (7) comprising an edge fixed on a flat or multi-part blank by a perforation of a continuous section or by a reinforced portion (5). The reinforced portion and another reinforced portion (12) are permanently attached at an inner side of the blank. Continuous horizontally running upper and lower main folding lines are arranged on the blank, and a section lying between the folding lines is formed at stabilization strips. The blank is connected to a folding box-casing by perpendicular arrangement of a connecting plate in a rear wall (6) or in a half rear wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a resealable folding box.
