The method involves arranging a transmission device, particularly a transmission device arranged fixedly relative to the scene (2), separated from the platform. The scene is lighted with one or multiple radar waves under different aspect angles. A receiving device is arranged on the moving platform and receives radar signals reflecting from the scene in direction of the platform. An independent claim is also included for a device for radar imaging of a scene emanating from a platform moving relative to the scene.
