The method involves exposing a liquid glass sample to an atmosphere of gas for influencing the surface tension of liquid glass sample such that the shape of liquid glass sample is changed. The gas for influencing the surface tension is supplied at a proportion of less than or equal to 10% of the volume of glass sample. The molding of glass sample is carried out by using an additive contained in the glass, according to the influence of surface tension of the glass sample.
