<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide modified nucleotides and a real-time polymerase reaction using the same. <P>SOLUTION: Nucleotides to which a fluorescent substance is bonded, a composition for the real-time polymerase reaction containing the nucleotides, an analysis kit, and an analysis method are provided. Nucleotides which are one of polymerase reaction substrates are chemically modified to impart a function of generating fluorescent signals in addition to a substrate function. Consequently, since there is no need to produce a probe, it is economical, and the nucleotides are easily applicable to various real-time polymerase reactions such as PCR (polymerase chain (amplification) reaction), RCA (rolling circle amplification) and isothermal polymerization reaction.
