<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor that exhibits higher sensitivity compared with a photoreceptor using a conventional Y-type titanyl phthalocyanine and that has high potential stability during repeated use and no humidity dependence of the sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer containing at least a charge generating substance on a conductive support is characterized in that the charge generating substance is a pigment containing an adduct of titanyl phthalocyanine and at least one of (2R,3R)-2,3-butane diol or (2S,3S)-2,3-butane diol, and that the photosensitive layer is formed by applying a dispersion liquid prepared by dispersing the above pigment by ultrasonic waves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
