<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing toner for electrostatic charge image development, for suppressing reduction in a yield due to foaming in a production process of the toner and suppressing a process load in a drainage treatment process. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing toner for electrostatic charge image development includes: a resin dispersion liquid preparation step of preparing a resin dispersion liquid containing a resin and a polymerizable surfactant; a colorant dispersion liquid preparation step of preparing a colorant dispersion liquid containing a colorant and a polymerizable surfactant; a release agent dispersion liquid preparation step of preparing a release agent dispersion liquid containing a release agent and a polymerizable surfactant; an aggregation step of mixing the resin dispersion liquid, the colorant dispersion liquid and the release agent dispersion liquid to form aggregated particles; and fusing step of heating and fusing the aggregated particles to a temperature equal to or higher than the glass transition temperature of the resin to obtain toner particles. In each step of the resin dispersion liquid preparation step, the colorant dispersion liquid preparation step and the release agent dispersion preparation step, the polymerizable surfactant is polymerized; otherwise, in the aggregation step or the fusing step, the polymerizable surfactant is polymerized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
