PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system setting an expiration time of an authentication of a Web application provided by a Web server started from an information processor according to a logout transition time of the information processor; and to provide the Web server, the information processor, and control methods thereof.

SOLUTION: The Web application running on the Web server acquires information of the logout transition time set by the information processor and updates the expiration time of the authentication of the Web application according to the acquired logout transition time. The Web application also receives a notification of an operation event occurred in MFP as well as an operation event on the Web application to appropriately reset a timer for the expiration time of the authentication of the Web application.
