<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technologies for preventing heat and controlling diseases and pests in a barn, capable of protecting the livestock from heat and disease and pests more easily and at a low cost, and capable of retaining the health and productivity of the livestock at a high level. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preventing heat and controlling disease and pests in the barn is characterized by setting a net with meshes, in which a water film can be formed, in an outside air opening part of the barn, and forming the water film by an insecticide solution with a solid or powder nonvolatile insecticide dissolved in water. After setting the net, the insecticide solution or water is sprayed or applied to the meshes to form the water film.
