<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material which can be easily and uniformly dispersed in a resin material during melt kneading, can maintain a small dispersion diameter, and can reduce the addition amount required to improve mechanical characteristics of various resin materials and to develop the same mechanical characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a powder resin (A) composed of a thermoplastic resin (a-1) and an olefinic resin (a-2) containing a carboxylic acid or its salt bonded to a polymer chain thereof and/or a fatty acid (a-3), optionally composed of an anionic and/or nonionic surfactant (a-4), and having an average primary particle diameter of 50 nm to 50 μm.
