<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistory bicycle parking facility with a bicycle parking base circulating a square circulation path along a vertical surface through an endless drive cord capable of improving safety when the bicycle parking base passes through a corner section of the square circulation path during circulation. <P>SOLUTION: A multistory bicycle parking facility comprises: vertical direction path sections 4 and 5 at both ends having respective vertical path portions 4a and 5a and inclined path portions 4b and 5b which are inwardly inclined with the vertical path portions and the inclined path portions symmetrically arranged about a point; a stop position for loading and unloading A configured at a position either of right angle turning guide wheels 6a and 7a which orthogonally turn a direction of an endless drive cord 8 and are pivotally supported on corners between an upper and a lower horizontal path sections 2 and 3 and the vertical direction path sections 4 and 5 respectively; and a control device which drives the endless drive cord 8 at a high speed if a circulating direction of a bicycle parking base 1 when the same passes through the stop position for bicycle loading and unloading A is the same as an entering direction F of a bicycle C with respect to the bicycle parking base 1 which stops at the stop position for bicycle loading and unloading A and drives the endless drive cord 8 at a low speed if the directions are opposite each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
