PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose an optical line terminal that decompresses packet data and a clock from an optical signal included in a voiceless section.

SOLUTION: The optical line terminal may receive packet data and a clock from at least one optical network unit. Even when the optical network unit exists in a voiceless section that allows no transmission of the packet data, the optical line terminal can ensure recovery of the clock.
