<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument including a digital photo-frame function which improves the interlocking relationship between a piece of music reproduced as a BGM and a displayed image so as to keep a user interested without being tired. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic musical instrument includes a CPU for switching an image to be displayed on a screen to a new image when an octave range of reproduced notes is changed in the process of reproducing the individual notes constituting a piece of music, and every predetermined time period of reproducing the music, for extracting a velocity change rate SVEL/t and a note number change rate SNOTE/t as conversion parameters from music data of individual notes reproduced during the predetermined time period (t), and according to brush feeling patterns (touches) and an overlapping state thereof specified based on the extracted conversion parameters (the velocity change rate SVEL/t and the note number change rate SNOTE/t), for converting the newly switched image into a pictorial image in an oil painting fashion and allowing a display section 16 to display the pictorial image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
