<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commutator and a DC motor that can suppress an electromagnetic noise to a low level, that has a simple structure, and that can be manufactured at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A commutator 10 has: a commutator main body 11b formed in a circumference of a rotation axis 64; and a commutator segment main body 11a comprising a plurality of commutator segments 11a<SB POS="POST">1</SB>arranged in a circumference of the commutator main body 11b. The commutator 10 has an electrostatic terminal part 12 for charge storage. When a distance between the commutator segment main body 11a and the rotation axis 64 is defined as α, and a distance between the electrostatic terminal part 12 and the commutator segment main body 11a is defined as β, a formula of β≤(1/2)×α is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
