<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a sense of unity among players by prompting the players under the same game situation to chat with each other, in a game that the plurality of players play while chatting. <P>SOLUTION: In a game system, a storage section 301 stores a progress state corresponding to each player, a reception section 302 receives instruction input from each player, and an updating section 303 updates the progress state stored corresponding to each player on the basis of the instruction input received from each player.
