<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle inclination angle detecting device which detects the inclination angle of a vehicle by using an inclination sensor for detecting deviation of a high temperature air layer and in which the detection accuracy of the inclination sensor can be enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle inclination angle detecting device 1 includes: an inclination sensor 2 which detects deviation of a high temperature air layer generated by a heat source and which can, by continuously outputting the detection value based on the detection, detect the inclination of a vehicle; determination means 5 determining whether or not the vehicle has fallen down based on the detection value output from the inclination sensor 2; and conversion means 4 operating the detection value output from the inclination sensor 2 and converting the detection value into a value that does not change with temperature changes.
