<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flooring material capable of reproducing a surface design of raw wood of regular grain at a low manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A flooring material having a surface to which a decorative sheet with a regular grain pattern is attached comprises a core material of plate pieces having a plurality of slash-cuts integrated in the width direction and the longitudinal direction laminated to the decorative sheet of plate pieces having the regular grain pattern with a width of at least 10 mm and a length of about 2 m integrated in the width direction and sliced into a thickness of about 3 mm.
