PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of enhancing safety of recycled domestic wastewater by removing microorganisms in a solution (bacteria, viruses, prion or the like) to drain away to public facilities or to reuse as an agricultural water, in particular a technique capable of removing microorganisms and viruses in wastewater by removing (a) bacteria, (b) viruses and prion, (c) fungi and (d) yeast, or by combination of the above removal.
SOLUTION: The surface charge in an aqueous solution possessed by microorganisms is used for removing microorganisms in the aqueous solution. In other words, stable dispersion of microorganisms brought by the repulsive force of the surface charge by using the hexaaqua iron picoparticles which are prepared by filtering the colloidal solution of ferric hydroxide using a specific membrane is destabilized by neutralization of the surface charge, and simultaneously the picoparticles are also destabilized. Both particles of microorganisms and picoparticles are enlarged by coagulation to be precipitated or to be removed by the membrane in such a state as not to precipitate.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
