<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-bed monitoring system, capable of surely detecting that a person is on a bed floor part. <P>SOLUTION: The on-bed monitoring system 30 includes: a total load value determination means 9 which determines whether a total load value obtained by summing up a plurality of load values output respectively from a plurality of load detection means 3 for detecting a load placed on the bed floor part 21 is a first threshold or larger; a breathing detection means 13 which determines whether breathing of a person H is detectable based on at least one load value of the plurality of load values; and an on-bed determination means 14 which determines that the person H is on the bed floor part 21 when the total load value is determined to be the first threshold or larger and the breathing determination means 13 determines that breathing of the person H is detectable.
