<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate a dangerous state of discharging work and make a stable operation of a furnace by a method wherein a discharging port is sealed at its liquid surface with molten metal or slag in a main furnace and the metal is discharged to a molten metal storing container communicated continuously through the molten metal accumulation part in the main furnace and the discharging hole. CONSTITUTION:A main furnace 1 and a molten metal storing container 5 are communicated with a discharging hole 6. Molten metal passes through the discharging hole 6, exceeds a discharging bank 7 of the container 5 and then is discharged. A height of the discharging bank 7 is set in reference to a molten substance, a static pressure in the furnace and an agitating effect of molten metal, and an increased amount of molten product within the furnace is continuously taken out of the furnace while the blowing of the furnace gas is not occurred through the discharging hole 6. A temperature control device 13 is arranged in the container 5 so as to control a discharging temperature of the molten metal and slag. With such an arrangement, a dangerous condition of the discharging work can be eliminated and at the same time a difficult operation caused by a disturbed temperature and pressure in an entire plant can be eliminated.</p> |
