<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery which can prevent a short circuit even if the temperature of the battery is raised by overcharge or the like in the secondary battery having portions where a collector is exposed at end parts of electrode plates and having an electrode body where the portions are protruded in a direction opposite to each other, and to provide a vehicle mounted with the secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: In a secondary battery 1, a first end part of a separator is protruded from a negative electrode plate, a positive electrode current collector is further protruded from the first end part of the separator, a second end part of the separator is protruded from a positive electrode plate, and a negative electrode current collector is further protruded from the second end part of the separator. The protrusion amount of the first end part of the separator from the negative electrode plate at a positive electrode non-coated portion side end part is two times or more of the protrusion amount of the second end part of the separator from the positive electrode plate at a negative electrode non-coated portion side end part of the electrode body, and the protrusion amount of the second end part of the separator from the positive electrode plate in the negative electrode non-coated portion side end part of the electrode body is 3 mm or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
