<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a flat cable which has a waterproof function. <P>SOLUTION: The connector for a flat cable includes: a connector housing 11 which has a flat cable terminal part insertion part 13, into which a flat cable terminal part 26 is inserted, formed on one side, and a fitting hood part 15, to which an opposite connector 5 of an electric wire terminal connected to a flat cable 2 is fitted, formed on the other side; and a relay terminal 3 which is housed in the connector housing 11, and has one end connected to the flat cable terminal part 26 and the other end connected to a terminal metal fitting 7 of the electric wire terminal housed in the opposite connector 5 so as to connect the flat cable 2 and electric wire 6 to each other.
