<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure security and provide diverse services different from passenger to passenger by allowing a very limited space such as a seat basis for a passenger to connect to a communication network. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication system is capable of selectively providing a two-way radio communication service for a portable terminal placed at a providing place of a particular service in a service space providing a radio communication service. The system comprises: authentication information issuing means 10 for issuing authentication information associated with a service providing place; authentication information storage means 13 for storing the authentication information; portable terminal authentication means 20 for authenticating a portable terminal 4 by checking, at the authentication information storage means 13, the portable terminal 4 placed at the service providing position, radio communication antennas 23 and so on for performing two-way radio communication, a placed position of the portable terminal, and the authentication information transmitted by the portable terminal; and radio communication means 21 for establishing connection with the authenticated portable terminal to provide the radio communication service. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
