<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of appropriately performing a judgment of completion of a warm-up operation without generating an unnecessary waiting time, and further to provide an image forming device having the fixing device. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises: a fixing rotating body that is in contact with one side of a recording medium on which an unfixed image is formed, heats and fixes the unfixed image on the recording medium; a pressurizing rotating body that in contact with other side of the recording medium on which the unfixed image is not formed and pressurizes the recording media against the fixing rotating body; and temperature detecting means for detecting the temperature of the pressurizing rotating body. In the case where an input voltage rate applied to the fixing device is equal to a prescribed value or higher and an outside air temperature is equal to the prescribed value or higher, the fixing device judges that a warm-up operation has completed when a prescribed time elapsed from a starting of the warm-up operation before the temperature detected by the temperature detecting means becomes equal to the prescribed value or higher, or the temperature detected by the temperature detecting means became equal to the prescribed value or higher before the prescribed time elapses from the starting of the warm-up operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
