<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptic waveguide that simultaneously settles difficulties in an unavoidable manufacturing process under application of a high voltage and a problem of a loss of an electrooptic effect due to orientation relaxation. <P>SOLUTION: An electrooptic waveguide comprises: a core that has an incident end and an emission end; and a cladding that surrounds the core except for the incident and emission ends.
