<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mold that molds a thin molded article having a designed front surface that needs high surface quality, and a back surface that does not such high surface quality, and has high heat efficiency, and can quickly heat and cool a designed surface, thereby securing high surface quality on the designed surface. <P>SOLUTION: The metal mole includes: an upper die 2 and a lower die 3 that are disposed to face each other where the dies 2, 3 can relatively move in approaching and separation directions. A molding surface 21a that molds the designed surface 100a of the molded article 100 is provided on a pressing surface 21 of the upper die 2, and a surface of the molding surface 21a is molded by a magnetic material. A molding surface 31a that molds a surface 100b of a back side of the molded article 100 is provided on a pressing surface 31 of the lower die 3, and the lower die 3 is molded of an insulator material, and a high-frequency heating coil 33 is embedded along the molding surface 21a near the molding surface 31a of the lower die 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
