<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pot for an induction heating type rice cooker having an excellent rice cooking performance and high-grade appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The pot for an induction heating type rice cooker is characterized in that a monolayer or multilayer metal is used as a base material, the metal of the outermost layer of the base material is constituted of a magnetic metal 4, and roughening treatment is applied to the surface of the magnetic metal 4. The roughened surface 20 is provided with a heat-resistant coating 10 whose main component is a heat-resistant resin to which an additive appropriately selected from among mica, a pigment, ceramic particles, glass particles, hollow glass beads and hollow ceramic beads is added and also 0.7-1.5 wt.% of aluminum flakes 22 are added. Since a magnetic line of force generated when cooking rice from an induction heating coil (not shown in the figure) provided in an induction heating rice cooker body (not shown in the figure) reaches the magnetic metal 4 without being suppressed by the heat-resistant coating 10, a sufficient induction heating property is secured, and an excellent flavor performance is obtained. Also, by adding the appropriate amount of the aluminum flakes 22 to the heat-resistant coating 10, a luminous feeling is obtained and the high-grade appearance is attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
