<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure resistance horizontally rotating engaged pot structure rice cooker having a vertically rotating openable/closable lid for cooking rice extremely well and safely where water supply and gelatinization proceeds into cores of rice grains at high pressure and high temperature in a short time and which can cook rice so that each grain may be shiny, soft and pleasant on the tongue, elastic, chewy, tastes sweeter in the mouth as one chews it, and is sticky. <P>SOLUTION: An upper periphery of the rice cooking pot is folded inward and a periphery of the rice cooking pot lid is folded outward at six parts respectively for engaging to form a structure of a high pressure resistance pot 2h to be horizontally rotated at about 30° to be engaged and engaged interposing a packing. Upon cooking rice, in a state as a rice cooker case lid 1b mounted with the high pressure resistant pot lid 3h is closed, a high pressure resistant pot handle 2hb projected to the right side face of the rice cooker is moved to a cooking position 2hba (left side of Fig.1, Fig.2, Fig.3) of the high pressure resistant pot handle (pot is horizontally rotated about 30°) to engage and fix the pot engaging part and the lid engaging part. The pressure is kept at 2.45 atm, the temperature is raised up to 128°C, to safely supply water and gelatinize to cores of rice in a short time to cook good taste rice in a short time saving energy more than the conventional rice cookers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
