<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device capable of not imparting uncomfortable feeling to a calling opposite party even when a vehicle moves back while the driver of the vehicle is calling with a cellular phone by using hands-free call function of the on-vehicle device. <P>SOLUTION: The on-vehicle device has a short-distance radio communication device for performing communication in a hands-free call using a cellular phone. The short-distance radio communication device performs communication in reception of images picked up with a camera mounted on the vehicle. If the communication in reception of the images starts during the operation of the hands-free call, the short-distance radio communication device executes any one of the following: stopping the hands-free call to transfer the call state to the cellular phone; lowering a transfer rate at which the camera transmits the images to the on-vehicle device; and suspending the operation of the hands-free call to transmit to a calling opposite party of the hands-free call a message that the vehicle is moving back. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
