<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed screw which is used for a material supply device of an injection molding machine, and can suppress entrapment of resin pellets due to co-rotation with the feed screw. <P>SOLUTION: The feed screw 50 includes a region 60 in which the outer periphery of a screw flight 51 is cut out. A wedge-shaped part formed by a front wall surface 56 of the screw flight and a boundary wall surface 58 where the outer periphery of the screw flight is cut out can advance, by rotation of the feed screw 50 in a feed screw rotating direction 44, while pushing aside resin pellets 30 located in the front thereof in two lateral directions of the front wall surface 56 of the screw flight and the boundary wall surface 58 where the outer diameter is cut out.
