The invention relates to a device for setting blind rivets, comprising a motor-actuated traction device for pulling the rivet pin. Said traction device contains a disk spring which is initially tensioned when the traction device is actuated. As soon as the force from the traction device, which is exerted upon the rivet pin, is sufficiently high, said rivet pin comes away, the tension on the previously tensioned spring is suddenly loosened and this leads to part of the traction device engaging on the rivet pin impacting upon a stop. As a result, said part of the traction device then remains blocked in position whilst the rivet pin continues to advance. This enables the rivet pin to be guided into a rivet pin container contained in the housing without having to make the user start a particular process. |
