The knapsack has a stretcher belt (20) i.e. shoulder belt, connected with a container (10) in an upper area, middle area and a lower area. A pivot element (18) is provided for connecting the stretcher belt at an upper area of the container. The pivot element enables swiveling of the stretcher belt in a belt level around plus or minus thirty degree. The pivot element comprises pivot surfaces, which form a sliding surface during pivoting of the belt. A limitation element limits a pivot area and comprises pockets. A lug (16) is connected with a rear element as a single piece.
