The wheel has a horizontal hub, and bar-shaped vanes (1) arranged between wheel faces. Convex, straight and concave surfaces (2a, 2b, 2c) of a cross-sectional contour are outwardly and inwardly curved or straight. Average distance between a curved side and an imaginary straight line is in the range of 0.15 times of length of the imaginary straight lateral line when the concave surface is inwardly curved. The bar-shaped vanes are fixedly provided in the wheel and are made of solid material or multi-layered material.
