The ball screw drive has a threaded spindle (12), where a double nut is supported at the threaded spindle. The double nut has two nut halves (16,18) subjected to each other by a prestressing force. A manually adjustable setting device is provided, by which the prestressing force is adjustable. An electrical clamping force sensor is provided for detecting the prestressing force.
