<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive capable of, even with an unrecorded optical disk, acquiring RF signal of a quality equivalent to that of RF signal secured by using an optical disk with a high-quality mark recorded, and performing various types of adjustments, having the RF signal as an index. <P>SOLUTION: Through supplying a DC current and an AC current to the laser and detecting light-emitting power, the supply current of the DC current supply means is controlled so that the light-emitting power becomes a target power.
