<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, equipped with a repeat layout function for outputting an image onto printing paper with a larger area than an original image in a repeat array, capable of preventing dislocation of the original image on the front and rear of the printing paper by using a technique of the repeat layout function in the both faces of the printing paper. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes: image reading means that reads the front and rear of an original image; image forming means that forms the original image read by the image reading means in a repeat array; and printing means that outputs the original image formed in the repeat array by the image forming means.
